Where are you available for Wedding Photography
I am available for weddings in and around Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Emu Park, Gracemere, Capricorn Resort, Byfield (Ferns Hideaway), The Caves (Capricorn Caves) without any additional travel costs. Depending on location and availability, I may also be able to photograph further afield, please contact me for details.
Wedding Photographic Style
I am contemporary wedding photographer, which combines photojournalistic wedding photography with a romantic wedding shoot. Photojournalistic wedding photography is interested in telling the story of your wedding in an unobtrusive way, rather than a series of pre-determined poses. The romantic wedding shoot involves photographing you and the bridal party where I concentrate on capturing the love and intimacy between you and your partner.
The romantic wedding shoot can be as long or as short as you like (or not at all), depending on whether you want to spend more time partying with your family and friends, or you want to spend the time and visit a few different locations for a variety of wedding portraits. As I shoot photojournalistic style wedding photography, you will still get many stunning portraits without a romantic wedding shoot. I am also able to cover a good range of romanitc (posed) photographs in about 15 mintues.
Engagement Shoot
All my wedding involve an engagement shoot, which is a photographic shoot of you and your partner (and children if you like) in a more relaxed setting. This allows us to get to know each other prior to the wedding and allows for a more relaxed wedding day. It can be a simple affair at the Rockhampton Botanical Gardens or city centre, or you can go all out with props and a special location. An engagement shoot usually takes about 45 minutes to one hour.
DVD Images
All my weddings include a CD/DVD of all the photographic images taken from both the wedding and the engagement shoot. The photos are supplied as full resolution and you can print as many as you like at any size you wish - although I recommend professional printing and editing for wedding prints greater than 5 x 7 inches.
Professional Prints
All photo prints supplied by us are professionally printed and edited to make you look the best (but still look natural), and include some subtle colour correction and embellishments. All editing is also specifically designed for the final size of your print. As noted above, I recommend professional printing and editing for all wedding portraits greater than 5 x 7 inches.
Wedding/Reception Coverage.
My standard wedding package includes coverage of
- Bride (and potentially the groom if wanted) getting ready an hour or so prior to the wedding
- Coverage of the wedding, and romantic shoot at one or many locations
- Reception entrance and a mock cake cutting.
For additional costs I am available for reception coverage to 10.30 pm, where I can cover first dance, real cake cutting, speeches, dancing etc . I can also do a "photo booth" at the reception if wanted.
